No glasses. No contacts. Hart Eye Center specializes in vision correction technology that can make poor vision a thing of the past.

Visit the Bausch & Lomb Web site for more information.
Hart Eye Center uses the Zyoptix® system designed by Bausch & Lomb. The Zyoptix® system is able to map thousands of data points to better understand your particular vision and any impairment you may have. These data points provide us a fully detailed, three-dimensional picture of your cornea’s shape and characteristics. We can then provide a unique treatment for each eye, resulting in personalized vision correction that is as individual as your eye.

Cataract surgery isn’t just for people over 60 and difficult cataract surgery with long recovery time is a thing of the past.
Alcon’s Infiniti Vision System uses a liquefaction device to generate pulses of warm water and safely break up and remove natural lens material that contains cataracts.
Once the cataract is removed, a lens is implanted in the eye to replace the natural lens. This means that cataract surgery can be used to correct vision, too.

ReSTOR Multifocal lens implants are giving patients a new look at life. The new ReSTOR lenses use a specialized type of diffractive technology that gives the eye the ability to focus images at various distances correctly. When ReSTOR lenses are implanted during cataract removal, the patient can see clearly, near and far, after recovery.
In the past, after a person had cataract surgery with lens implants, chances were they were still going to need reading glasses. The new ReSTOR implants give patients clear near vision and distant vision without glasses.
Dr. Hart is ranked in the top 10 percent of eye surgeons in the country for the number of ReSTOR lenses implanted. Since the release of the ReSTOR lens in May 2005, he has done the procedure on more than 300 eyes.As our bodies age, so do our eyes. Early detection and treatment of age-related diseases is the best way to insure that you keep clear vision now and in the future.
Hart Eye Center uses a fluorescein angiogram to detect age-related diseases. For this test, the eye doctor uses a digital camera to take a picture of the back of the eye and the results are interpreted immediately.
